The Volvo charging cable adds flexibility to your everyday life and comes with different connectors to suit your specific needs. Vehicle charging is monitored by two-way communication between the vehicle and the control box. When the cable is connected to the power source self-test diagnostics are performed to ensure that the cable is properly connected and is ready to supply the vehicle with power. The control box is integrated into the charging cable and is plugged into an ordinary power socket. The cable is supplied with an adapter to enable Level 1 and Level 2 charging. A component which charges the hybrid high voltage battery.
