This Hood Switch is required for installation of the Remote Engine Start accessory. Add the convenience of remote controlled starting to your vehicle. It allows you to pre-heat or pre-cool the vehicles interior without entering your vehicle. Includes a timer that will shut the engine down after 15 minutes. Range is up to 800 feet. (Automatic Transmission only).
